Beetroot raita

As I already emphasized on its health advantages in my previous posts, Beetroot has number of benefits to offer us. Besides its rich colour the nutrient value under the skin is so high, it not only helps to boost our immune system but can produce new blood cells. We must include this beautiful vegetable in our meals.
Beetroots can be easily made part of your salads in raw form, or could be a savory soup! Can make number of lip smacking dishes _ cutlets, sweets, juice or even raitas, yes you heard it right. I prepared beetroot raita and believe me this is just awesum. Kids who dont like beetroot would like this dish of course. Try my simple and easy recipe.

Ingredient
1 beetroot grated
3_4 bowls of curd
Salt 1 tsp
Hing pinch
Rai 1/2 tsp n 1 tsp oil for tadka

Method

In a pan add 1 tsp oil. When hot add rai. When splutters add hing and grated beetroot. Cook until little soft. Switch off the gas.let it cool.

In a bowl whisk curd. Add beetroot and salt. Mix well. Serve chill.
