Gatte ki sabji

Indian besan ke gatte ki sabji is a very famous dish from the land of rajasthan. Besan gatta curry is gramflour dumplings in curd cury. It is made in many ways but this simple curd gravy gatte are favourite in my home. Less spicy n tangy. 

Dahi wale gatte

Ingredients

To knead gatte
Gram flour 1 cup
Oil 2 tsp
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder 1tsp
Curd 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ajwaen 1 tsp
Haldi pinch

For gravy
Water 5 cups
Curd 2 cup
Haldi pinch
Red chlly pwdr 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp

For tadka
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Red chilly 2 sukhi
Green chilly 1 optional
Black rai 2 tsp
Kari patta few
Hing 1/2 tsp


Method

Gatte
Prepare dough of mentioned ingredients with just little water drops if required. Make 3_4 rolls out of it.
Boil 5 cups water. Add 1/2 tsp oil n pinch salt to water.
Drop the gattes in it and let it cook for 10-15 mins.
Take out gattes and cut into pieces n keep aside. Dont throw the water. Its required in gravy now.

Gravy

Add above water in curd and all ingredients mentioned and whisk well. Keep aside.

Tadka
In pan take 2 tsp oil. When hot add rai, hing, kari patta, green chilly n red chilly sukhi.
Add ginger garlic paste n cook till its rawness goes. Add gatte pieces and saute little.
Now add gravy (dahi mixture) to this and let it cook on sim gas for 10_15 mins.

Garnish with chopped hra dhaniya. Serve hot.
