Spinach kebab

Evergreen spinach and its nutritious values are no less known.Making kebabs out of it was one of my wonderful experiment with the nutritious leaves. It was superbly yummy and an instant finish.lol.

This recipe is so easy to prepare and full on with the goodness of spinach.Very nutritious as well as delicious, goes great with any chutney or sauce or salad, can be served as starters. A hint of corns added different taste to it. 

Not so popular with kids these green leaves will find its way to their palate. I add or combine spinach in number of dishes like dal, soups, paneer, mushroom, cutlets, upma, pulav, puri, paratha, etc. Not all but many of them are now hit among kids. 


Spinach kebabs

Ingredients required

Spinach blanched 1 cup n pureed coarsly (without water)
Boiled potatoes 4

Gram flour 3_4 tbsp
Corn kennels  boiled1/3 cup
Suji 1/3 cup
Salt
Oil
Red chilly flakes / powder
Chopped coriander leaves
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Ginger juliens few

Method

In a bowl mix mashed potatoes, spinach pureed n all ingredients mentioned above except suji n oil.
Make soft dough. Apply oil on palm n make small tikkies out of it. Coat these tikkies with suji all over.
In pan roast tikkies with little oil.
Serve hot with chutney, chopped capsicum n grated cabbage, raddish
